Yes it's true! Chilli did get a mention in the Sunday Telegraph for his efforts last Friday when causing the plunge on maiden galloper Privileged Class at Ballina. There's been a little confusion as to exactly what happened but if you read his thread you'll discover that he encouraged everyone to place a $20 bet on UNiTAB to see if we could affect the tote price. UNiTAB ended up at $2.70, about 70¢ shorter than the other two totes so there is no denying he pulled it off. The telegraph mentioned that the bookies got wind of it and opened it up at a firm quote but you can be guaranteed chilli would have got the double figure odds earlier in the day! :)
