1 Pylon Finished in the middle of the pack last start at Kasamatsu. Looks the leader and drawn ideally. Must be considered.
2 Pouncing Puma Only just missed last start, finishing three quarters of a length back from the winner at Kasamatsu. Capable of racing on speed. Rates highly.
3 Country Madam Won once this prep at Kasamatsu four runs back. Looks the leader but still not in this.
4 Y S Kraken Let-up for six weeks. Has plenty of early speed and a likely leader but unlikely.
5 Pamphilj Finished a nose back from the leader last start at Kasamatsu. Looks the leader. Place hope.
6 Mandibularis Finished 16 lengths back last start at Kasamatsu. Has plenty of early speed and a likely leader but still outsider.
7 Hokusen King O Placed last start at Kasamatsu. Has a lot of early speed. Solid claims.
8 Kami Arashi Finished worse than midfield last start at Kasamatsu. Has genuine early speed. A good chance.
9 Asuka Seon Yet to break out of maiden grade after 21 attempts. Has a lot of early speed but no wins in three past runs at Kasamatsu. Prefer others.
10 Grand Janu Finished fourth last start at Kasamatsu. Looks the leader and Seigo Tsukamoto has had success aboard previously. Should fight out the finish.
