Queen Elizabeth Stakes: Field and barrier draw

The field has been declared and barriers allocated for the 2024 $5 million Group 1 Queen Elizabeth Stakes (2000m) at Randwick on Saturday.

A field of 11 starters make up the field with eight of them being Group 1 winners.

The field consists of six entires and geldings, four mares and a three-year-old colt.

Prior to the field being declared, dominant Ranvet Stakes winner Via Sistina was the clear favourite ahead of Victorian super mare Pride Of Jenni and Australian Cup winner Cascadian.

Also in the market are two time Doncaster Mile winner Mr Brightside, Ranvet Stakes runner-up Place Du Carrouel, Buckaroo and last Saturday's Australian Derby runner-up Ceolwulf.
