Got the message Maff. I still can’t reply by PM. Weak as pi55.
BalwynCalling
Can’t seem to send any PM’s for some reason. Yeh I’m giving that comp a miss. Just won’t be watching the races/on here enough to keep up. Will most likely forget to put tips in half the time.
carltonfan
Having trouble PM mate. Message coming through on my behalf for you. All good. Were discussing you and hoping you were following etc...Cheers
carltonfan
Testing only
carltonfan
Having trouble with prv messaging again Maff but do appreciate your message. She is a grand little mare racing in great form and the price was ludicrous for what she has been doing. Think the corps thought she would get caught in the death. Its nice someone takes the time to acknowledge whats chucked up. Ta
carltonfan
Thanks for your reply earlier Maff. I'm quite illiterate messaging. How do I do the PM?. Any help greatly appreciated. Or I can supply my personal email if any responses are deemed helpful...Cheers

From the stable....
Hi Everyone
So close on Friday night to that MO class win we are chasing. Hit the front but then pulled up (as she has done a couple of times before earlier in her career)
Geoff was very frustrated after the race. He said “she doesn’t want to win”. The Stewards called him in and all he could say to them is that stopping late is a habit and he avoids using the whip for that reason.

So a $3,000.00 cheque instead of $11,000.00 – but we should still be very happy with her. Racing very consistently at the high level and paying the bills for us.

She is nominated for another Mares MO this coming Friday night at Melton over 1720 metres. Will draw wide because the barrier draw is based on prize money won in the last 4 starts, with highest money winners getting the worst draws. 12 horses nominated for the race and we are the 3rd highest money winner so no barrier 1 or 2 this week. Fields out tomorrow afternoon.
carltonfan
Yes, I think so as well. The ignor/freeze treatment appears the way to go. No response and he will go back to the horse thread..
carltonfan
How the hell BeCool falls into these guys is amazing. Just keep giving him heeps until he pees off mate. he,s looking for free kicks. Not from me does he get anything. Having said that the stable are extremely confident Beach Garden will run 1st or 2nd Friday night sitting behind Pistol Abbey in the lane. She flies the gate, will lead and hand up. Timmy rang me last night talking about Franky pulling too hard and wont settle. He's in at our home track Monday. Have,nt seen a field yet. The lad starts work with D K Weir on 1/2/19. He,s rapt. Hopes to improve his skills and learn. Will be good for him. Won,t be letting the other forum guys know though. We might snag the odd winner mate.
carltonfan
Belladins having a crack at us me thinks Maff. Treat with caution. He has no interest or knowledge in harness.. a bit of jealousy from the horse section perhaps.
carltonfan
Best of luck for the New Yr Maff… Just passing info on from the stable re our good mare Friday. She is extremely honest but probably the top class mares are as good as her at least. But, you have to have a throw at the stumps..

"Hi Everyone

Beach Garden is racing at Melton on Friday night.

She has drawn barrier 2 in Race 8 at 9.52pm over 1720 metres.

She is taking on the MO – M3 grade in the Graham Goffin Memorial for mares only – for $24,000.00 stake. This is a huge step up in class but it ensured we got a good front row draw. Being a race for the top grade mares it has attracted a strong field but I am sure Connie will be competitive.

Only a field of 8 with prize money being : 1st $13000 2nd $3600, 3rd $2400, 4th $1200 So a top 4 finish would be a good result.
carltonfan
No, not putting anyone off mate. Timmy was hoping like hell to draw the front in the final with Cranky F(Leeton). He says he just cant click into a sprint when they take off. Was hoping to lead and roll at a good pace. Maybe luck can help. The girl was switched it appears from Amy Day yesterday. Summer Bay and Peach are great chances well drawn for them and both racing extremely well. The boys are going hard for the $,s and Ryan Duffy was called in as the regular driver for the boys. Lets hope for some $,s. Nothing heard from Tim today.
carltonfan
Zac copped 10 days x 2 for trying too hard "driving where space was unavailable". That's what I call a trier. Now, privately James Herby told me 3 weeks ago to back this horse of his Dads 1st up (no trialling to get price). Herbies are family friends. Steel Screens R2 N 4 tonight at Shepp. I would imagine bet early although not big punters. And Sumarian is better than what they first thought as well. Good luck
carltonfan
Forgot the other one that should at least place. Crocodile kid or something
carltonfan
Copying you in pal on the memo I just sent Be Cool because you obviously looked after me. Good luck and lets hope. Both guys are good lads and Zac is a good little driver who doesn't drive much...."Just the thumbs up for Leeton tomorrow night BeCool. Tim rang me yesterday a personal thing with my Mums funeral Friday but is off to Leeton with Zac S for a week with the 3 horses. Suggests Franky may not get the lead tomorrow but needs to qualify for a final when they hope to draw well and lead as he has not got a sharp sprint and they want to roll along. Jules P with Zac onboard looks a good investment as well as our Summer Bay at this country level. They are staying until after New Yr and trying to get as much prizemoney as possible..Will give more info if I hear more. Busy week for me and a sad one but life goes on."
carltonfan
Thank you so much brother. Never would stoop so low to attack like a dog against anyone with issues like that. My mum passed away thurs with my wife and sister supporting her in the final hrs so understand the reality at the end. So sorry for him. Life is a challenge at times. Makes me think I have nothing to whinge about really. Txs so much Maff
carltonfan
No, I didn,t know that Maff. Never communicated with him over issues or anthing. It was Polo player that takes the "big stick" to me boots and all. Sorry to learn of the Pumpkin business. Whatever happened mate?
carltonfan
Good luck tonight with Connie.

She has worked well since her last run so she should be very competitive

Merry Christmas to you all and lets hope we have a prosperous New Year

Cheers,

Geoff Webster

Helps when the message is incl. Also following up on Jodan in a small way.
carltonfan
Per Geoffs email this morning. Prefer he was driving but cant be helped tonight. Emmet is OK but not aggressive enough for mine. Might win but I,ll be backing each way until full fitness is reached..Good luck pal.
carltonfan
Hi Everyone

Betta Bopper has drawn very poorly at Geelong on Sat night – barrier 7 outside the front row

It is the first race at 6.25pm, for $7,000.00 over 2100m. If she finishes top 5 she will qualify for a $10,000.00 final at Ballarat on December 4th (the night of the Interdominion Heats at Ballarat) If she gets to that final hopefully we get a better draw.

Richard Brosnan will drive Else – Emmett is unavailable with family commitments.

Because of the good final prize money it is a very strong field – from the worst possible draw it will be very tough against some very experienced pacers.

Betta Boppa tomorrow night. Was impressive last week though winning.
carltonfan
Because you talk sense Maff incl the stable info for tomorrow. Only a small interest but enjoyable. Also have Beacg Garden interest and Webster has gone straight to the races without a trial. Expecting a big season from her in the Mares races coming up. Competed against Konan for 2 seconds and rated 1.52. She is only a c3-4 mare, and more importantly Geoff will drive her not Emmett who IMO lacks the experience at top level...Good luck. morvells@bigpond.co is the email if you want to link for any stable info over the mares season. Only a small interest in these 2 stables but very enjoyable and communicate well.

hey mate are you on face book? if not send me your email address and i'll send the ones i'm sending kav and suchie, imfo is real good
RaceReviewBB
TreblersBB
Good evening Treble Club members,
I'm addressing this note in an impersonal manner because there are 37 of us and I don't want to keep changing the name. when going through the list I noticed a few that we haven't heard from in a while, in particular mara, Dtrain, tombingham, nates nags and a few others that are infrequent visitors. I can't find catapult at all so he has either changed m=names or given up the punt but if anyone knows of his whereabouts pass this on to him please.
Most of the club members are using the Hangout chat line for interaction so if anyone hasn't got access to that let me know and I'll invite you in. hangouts is great cos you can't get suspended and it is private between us but in order to keep the interest up we need to keep in ind that the thread needs top keep bubbling. Bill's target membership is 50 so we are not far away.

Some of our members are in the Treblers alliance horse syndicate. It's getting exciting now as the babies are only 8 weeks from a trial then maybe racing December. Shylie is surprisingly confident in a nice way, not the usual trainers hype. She's keeping the lid on but let slip to me the other day that Richie and Shirley are doing well. They passed their barrier trials and with great kudos to Painted and Viper we have a set of colours as per the icon on the treblersBB punters account. PP is more than happy to explain the significance of the colours etc but the dreamer catcher emblem has an obvious meaning for us treblers. Living the dream... The syndicate paperwork will go off tomorrow I hope. There are still a couple who haven't signed and sent back the forms. That makes life a bit difficult so if you have any concerns get back to me.

Okay GEN 111 is off and running. Here are a few changes that our coach and the back office will be implementing for the foreseeable future or until we develop something else. Jackpot Hunting, Quaddies etc. The best way to do this is on the basis of treblers contributing to the bets and therefore sharing in the profits. It is a bit messy keeping track of who's paid and who hasn't so as we move into this system we will eventually have a position where if the money has been received you are in but if not in you're not in. It's too hard waiting for money to turn up next week for a bet that is on tomorrow. Because it's early days I'm happy to have late payment for this week but not after Saturday.

There are three ways to deposit into the treblers ANZ account.
Cash Treblers acc BSB 016560 ACCOUNT No 465708674
On lIne TREBLERS SYNDICATE BSB 016125 ACCOUNT No 465708703
Pay Pal too hard but if a last resort I'll pass on the details

The ante will be in $10 lots. I.e. if you want a bigger crack at the dividend you can do more than one contribution. $20 gets you two shares etc Every dollar in will be used for the bet from now on. i.e. 10 punters $100 is bet. Already some treblers are putting up extra cash for future quaddies so they don't have to run around at the last minute. One has put $50 in and is paid up for the next 5 hunts.

Treble Rules
If we go way back to when Bill started this competition he wanted a scenario where there were "spies" across Australia. 50 treblers providing intel about their regions, their connections and their methology. It makes sense and we are benefiting individually by the intel that is being passed around imo. With that in mind he's keen to see treblers look past what seems the obvious winner. Unfortunately the stats for those obvious winners is pretty grim also so while it's great to see three favorites get up for a $90 dividend he can see that those horses are already spruiked as winners. He would be more than likely Laying them. Ideally we want to see selections at odds of greater than $2.50 regardless whether win or place. That's it, no other conditions for one of those fabulous tee shirts. I'm not sure who hasn't won a shirt yet but have a sneaky suspicion there's a couple of treblers very keen to do so.
Treble restrictions
We currently have 35 active members so the cut off each event will be 35. Members will have preference. Late entries CUT OFF is 11am Adelaide time. After that there will be only 5 late entries allowed. That includes treblers waiting to see what the tracks are doing.
Treblers Club fee
Existing treble club members will not be asked to pay a fee for GEN 111 but newbies obviously will. Race Review We are building a system that will allow for treblers to rate their selections after the race or races. In time this will be as easy as entering your selections on Pi'es form but we have a couple of issues to get over before that's possible. In the meantime there is a separate sheet called

Treblers RACE Review.
It will have your selections listed as you selected them including what you rated the selection at. All you need to do is rate the performance and tick a box that described what happened. eg poor ride have confidence it will win soon OR sacked etc etc There is scope for more comments to be loaded onto the sheet but if the ticked box doesn't meet your feelings then write in the comment section. I have opened a treblersBB punters account purely for having those horses that treblers have rated highly to be blackbooked. So it is important that you rate your pick correctly when selecting (Wazza 10 is max not 5 any more) so that we can see if it has be rerated or derated.. It's all about collecting data, so hard to keep all of our selections in our heads or even worse kept individually and not shared. Bearing this in mind the consensus seems to be that this data collection remains the property of the treblers club. I can't wait to see the fruits of 30/35 treblers x 3 selections being stored away and utilized as a group.

Sheets
There are currently three active sheets but soon we will be back to two. These may be in the wrong order.
$10 Trebler Comp is where the trebles are collated plus there's a few other tabs with data on them. https://goo.gl/MSKLzj
Treblers Club needs a big overhaul but holds lots of financial data and historical data https://goo.gl/Cnj7Jj
55555 Sheet is for the inputting of your 55555 selections. This will be added to the treblers club sheet in time. https://goo.gl/5GWuJR RACE REVIEW sheet https://goo.gl/ca2paC That's enough for tonight, any queries send a telegram..... Good night
